MYFOUNDERY PRIVACY SUPPLEMENT

Last Updated: October 12, 2026

1. HOW THIS SUPPLEMENT WORKS

This supplement adds to the Guesie Privacy Policy above. It explains how Guesie Group LLC handles personal information for MyFoundery: applications, membership billing, the MyFoundery Slack workspace, member sessions, and Workbench introductions.

The Guesie Privacy Policy applies to MyFoundery in full, including your rights, international transfers, security, children's privacy, cookies, governing law, and dispute resolution. Where this supplement is more specific or more protective, this supplement controls for MyFoundery.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT FOR MYFOUNDERY

  • Application and review: name, email, phone, business name and details, role, resume, portfolio, references, referral source, and interview notes. This comes from you, your references, and the person who referred you.

  • Company details (founders): legal company name, entity type, state of formation, business address, and authorized user.

  • Billing: name, email, billing address, membership plan, and payment history, collected through Stripe. Stripe handles card numbers; we never see or store full card numbers.

  • Community activity: your Slack profile, messages, files, reactions, and channel membership.

  • Sessions: attendance and, when a session is recorded and you were told in advance, recordings, transcripts, or AI summaries.

  • Communications: emails and messages you send us.

We do not ask MyFoundery members for Social Security numbers, health information, or government ID numbers. Please don't send them to us.

3. HOW WE USE AND SHARE MYFOUNDERY INFORMATION

We use it to:

  • Review applications and decide on membership

  • Bill your membership, send receipts, and handle cancellations

  • Run the Slack community, sessions, and member directory

  • Introduce founders and freelancers to each other for Workbench seats

  • Send membership updates and, if you agree, occasional MyFoundery news (you can unsubscribe anytime)

  • Keep the community safe, enforce our Membership Terms and Community Guidelines, and meet legal obligations

We share it only with:

  • Stripe, for payments, subscriptions, and the "Manage membership" portal

  • Slack, to host the community workspace

  • Google Workspace, for email, application forms, member records, and documents

  • Other members: your profile and what you post are visible to members in the channels you join. With your permission, your details are shared with a founder or freelancer for a Workbench introduction.

  • Professional advisers and authorities, when needed for legal, accounting, or insurance advice, or when required by law

  • A successor business, if Guesie or MyFoundery is sold or merged, subject to this policy

We do not sell personal information. Our website uses analytics and advertising cookies as described in our Cookie Policy, but we never share application details, member records, Slack content, or session recordings with advertisers.

AI tools: We may use AI tools to help organize applications, summarize sessions, or suggest possible introductions. A person makes every membership decision and every introduction.

4. SLACK, THE MEMBER DIRECTORY, AND SESSIONS

  • Who sees what in Slack: members can see your Slack profile and anything you post in channels you belong to. Direct messages are visible to the people in them. As workspace owner, Guesie can manage the workspace and, depending on the Slack plan and settings, may be able to export or access messages, including in private channels and direct messages. We access member content only to run the community, investigate a reported concern, enforce our terms, or comply with law.

  • Slack AI: the workspace uses Slack's built-in AI features, such as summaries and search. Slack processes content for these features under its own terms.

  • Member directory: your name, business, role, and profile details may appear in a members-only directory or Workbench listing. You can ask us to change what is shown.

  • Recordings and AI summaries: we tell attendees before a session is recorded, transcribed, or summarized with AI. You can turn off your camera, stay muted, or skip the session. Recordings are shared only with members and kept for 12 months unless we tell you otherwise.

  • Marketing use: we never use your name, photo, logo, testimonial, or session footage in marketing without your separate written permission. For MyFoundery, this replaces the opt-out approach in Section 8 (Event Recording & Media Policy) of the Guesie Privacy Policy.

5. HOW LONG WE KEEP MYFOUNDERY INFORMATION

  • Applications not accepted: up to 12 months after our decision, then deleted

  • Member records and application file: for your membership, plus up to 2 years after it ends

  • Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to 7 years

  • Slack profile: deactivated when your membership ends. Messages you posted may remain visible to members who were in those conversations.

  • Session recordings: 12 months

6. YOUR RIGHTS AND REQUESTS

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your MyFoundery information, or to change what appears in the member directory, by emailing hello@guesie.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We may keep what we must for legal, tax, or dispute reasons. Your other rights, and how we handle security and international transfers, are described in the Guesie Privacy Policy above.
